We have recently become aware of individuals unaffiliated with Green Plains Inc. who are sending out fraudulent employment offers using names similar to ours in an attempt to deceive potential job candidates. In a recent case, a candidate applied through a third-party job board (not our internal job board on our official careers site at https://careers.gpreinc.com/us/en) and subsequently received a fraudulent questionnaire from an email address ending in @gpreincareers. This email was a scam.
Please note that all official communications from Green Plains Inc. will come from email addresses ending in @gpreinc.com or @ultimatesoftware.com. Green Plains Inc. does not request or require any fees or payments during any stage of the recruitment or hiring process. If someone solicits fees, payments, or sensitive information from you under the guise of recruitment or employment with our company, please be aware that this communication is not authorized by Green Plains Inc. and should be considered fraudulent. To confirm whether a communication or job offer you received was legitimate, please contact the Green Plains Inc. Human Resources department at hr@gpreinc.com or by phone at 402-884-8700.
